I earned my B.S. in Education, with an emphasis on Regular and Special Education, from Temple University. I'm certified to teach in Pennsylvania state, in both Regular and Special Education. I have worked as a class aid, pre-school teacher, and substitute teacher since graduating. I have managed full fifth and sixth grade classes, as well. I'm comfortable teaching ESL/ELL, Literature, Writing, Reading, History, Geography, Social Studies, and Math. I also work with students to prepare for a number of exams, including the GMAT, PSAT, SAT, GRE, and LSAT. I've assisted students in developing their skills in editing, phonics, grammar, and analytical writing. I feel comfortable working with students of many different ages and backgrounds. I'm a full proponent of acting as a guide to students, allowing them to come to solutions independently. Students need educators to act patiently and supportively in order to achieve success in their studies. Learning should be fun, and it should leave people with pleasant memories they can hang on to. In my free time, I love to sew, knit, and make crafts. I also enjoy practicing yoga, taking walks every day, and being outdoors. I'm currently based out of Hulmeville, PA.
